These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website (the “Site”) operated by The Reorient Book (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including the purchase of any products offered through the Site. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order on this Site.
All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) and exclude applicable sales tax and shipping charges, which are calculated at checkout. We reserve the right to correct any pricing or product description errors and to limit order quantities. Product availability is subject to change without notice.
By submitting an order, you make an offer to purchase the selected items. We may accept or decline any order at our sole discretion. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
Texas sales tax is applied to orders shipped to taxable destinations as required by law. The applicable rate is shown at checkout.
Shipping methods, rates, and estimated delivery times are presented at checkout based on your shipping address. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events beyond our reasonable control. Risk of loss and title for purchased items pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.
Unopened physical books in resalable condition may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the product price (shipping is non-refundable). Buyer is responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. To start a return, contact us at the email below with your order number.
If you purchase a downloadable product, your license to the file is for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not redistribute, resell, or share the file. Digital downloads are non-refundable once access has been granted.
All content on this Site, including the book content, text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of The Reorient Book or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce or distribute Site content without our prior written consent.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
The Site and products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Reorient Book shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or any product purchased. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the item giving rise to the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
